Nectarines are a cultural peach variety with smooth peel, although peaches and nectarines are genetically the same species. Same as peaches, nectarines can be yellow, white, it may be easy or difficult to separate the pulp from the kernel. Nectarine varieties are generally sweeter than peaches.
Nectarines are grown in Greece, France, Italy, Spain, California, Chile, and South Africa.
